VISION:To be a leading university in the provision of quality knowledge and skills in Agriculture and allied sciences

TechTalent Initiative Launch, July 22, 2016

Created on 29 May 2016

The purpose of TechTalent is to bridge the gap between research findings, innovation, and commercialization. TechTalent will provide would-be innovators with training, coaching, and networking to bring their ideas, prototypes, and technologies to markets, thereby opening up new opportunities for entrepreneurship and employment for Tanzanian youth.

The launch program will include an opening of the TechTalent space which has been designed to harness the talent and energy of youth in agriculture to develop solutions to the challenges of smallholder farmers.

During the event, there will also be an Innovation Fair where young people, students, and SUA researchers will be encouraged to exhibit their products and prototypes.

The launch will take place on the SUA Main Campus at iAGRI on July 22, 2016
